The Birmingham DJ is bringing hip-hop, Afrobeats, Amapiano, reggae, Latin sounds, line dances and live performances together for one unforgettable night at WorkPlay on August 28.

There are plenty of parties happening in Birmingham, but DJ New Era wants his next one to feel different.

On August 28, the Birmingham DJ will bring his vision to life with “1 Big A** Party,” an event designed to give guests a little bit of everything. From hip-hop, Latin music, Amapiano, reggae, R&B, line dances and live performances all under one roof at WorkPlay in the heart of downtown Birmingham.

For DJ New Era, the party is about more than putting people on a dance floor. It is a personal statement about taking risks, investing in yourself and refusing to become comfortable.

“This event was inspired by people telling me it couldn’t be done. I told myself, let me take a risk, take some of my savings, and just dump it into this party,” said New Era.

That mindset has been at the center of his career.
