Sometimes an intimate room can create the biggest moments.

For its third installment, Matcha Mondays brought together educators, community leaders, music lovers and creatives for an intimate evening celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, while creating space for conversation, culture and connection.

Hosted by award-winning journalist Nicole Sadé, Matcha Mondays is a monthly conversation and cultural experience presented by Alicia’s Coffee and Voltron Printing curated by Kendra Woodfin. The series continues to create opportunities for guests to connect with notable artists and community voices while experiencing Birmingham through a more personal lens.

August featured guest was J.
